Lauren E. Lennahan

I am originally from Southern Maine and lived there until I went to college at Salve Regina in Newport, Rhode Island. I started working in the financial industry in 2012 when I worked for a small family office based in New York City, assisting them with their marketing and helping to establish their client base.

I was drawn to Barry Investment Advisors because I was interested in learning more about the industry and their holistic approach to financial planning and investing. Although I wear a number of different hats at Barry, my primary role is creating the review pieces for our clients as well as scheduling their review appointments with their financial advisor and financial planners. I am also available to assist clients with money movement or account specific requests.

I currently live in Portsmouth, Rhode Island with my husband, Mike, our two children, Will and Maggie, and our two cats . We enjoy playing soccer together, going to the beach and visiting family in Maine and New York City. The greatest piece of financial advice I have received is from my mom. When I got my first job as a teenager, she made sure I always put half of my pay into savings. I would track my account with a passbook and loved to watch it grow!
